Thanks for taking part in National Go Canoeing Week. Mile registration is now closed for 2018. We reached a whooping 57,574 miles!!!

The log in page is now closed and we will be announcing the winners of the top prizes over the next week.  If you missed out, don't worry National Go Canoeing Week will be back for 2019. Save the date 25th May - 2nd June...

NGCW data statement

We take your privacy seriously. The data captured will be used to monitor the number of miles paddled nationally, administer your entry into the prize draw and for internal statistical reporting to help British Canoeing monitor participation and trends within the sport.

How your data will be used

By submitting your entrance of miles for National Go Canoeing Week you agree that we may display your full name/organisation name, the number of miles you paddled and type of craft you paddled on the homepage of the website. Often some fantastic stories and feedback are submitted as part of the entrance, by sharing these with us you are agreeing that we can use these in promotion around the week. Occasionally we may get in touch with entrants if their story is of real interest and we’d like to know more. No further personal details will be shared unless consent is retained. We will contact all competition winners via email and ask permission to share any further details. The data you supply within this entry will be stored securely within the British Canoeing database for up to 10 years as having participated in this event. Your data will only be used in accordance with the British Canoeing participant privacy notice. We have appointed a Data Protection Officer to oversee our compliance with data protection laws in our organisation. Where you have given us your consent to use your personal information in a particular manner, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, which you may do by contacting our data Protection Officer.
